From “Shrek the Musical” to Taylor Swift, enchantment will be the theme of this year’s Showtime, Medina High School’s annual end-of-the-year choral extravaganza.
The school hosts the 43rd choral show today and Saturday.

Showtime 2013 features high-energy, staged performances from the school’s six choirs and various student ensembles and soloists, accompanied by a student instrumental group.

The show will feature selections including “I Will Survive,” “You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful,” “You’ll Be in My Heart” (“Tarzan”), “Let Me Be Your Star” (“Smash”), “Knock on Wood,” “Fever,” “Halo,” “Razzle Dazzle” (“Chicago”), “Time Warp” (“Rocky Horror Picture Show”), “Today Was a Fairytale,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “The Lazy Song” and a choral medley from “Shrek the Musical.”

The company of more than 200 students will be directed by a staff of all Medina High School choir alumni, including choreographer Courtney Kania-Young, assistant director Zack Pytel, and director Tyler Skidmore.
