Medina man, 18, arrested on porn charges

MEDINA — City detectives and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested an 18-year-old city man after executing a search warrant Friday at his West Liberty Street apartment near Public Square.

Dylan A. Ruesch, of 110 W. Liberty St., was charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. The charge is a fourth-degree felony, punishable by up to 18 months in jail and a $5,000 fine.

Ruesch was taken to the Medina County Jail pending arraignment. No bond has been set yet.

Police Lt. David Birckbichler said the investigation started two weeks ago after the task force traced several files containing child pornography to Ruesch’s computer Internet address.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force includes city, county, state and federal law enforcement officials.
