Wadsworth police log for June 7

Woman cited for passing school bus

WADSWORTH — A Wadsworth Schools bus driver told police a vehicle passed the bus Tuesday while the lights were activated and children were boarding.

After honking and waving for the driver to stop, Aubrey Thompson, 25, of 5987 State Road, raised her middle finger at him, according to a Wadsworth police report.

Thompson was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and failing to stop for a school bus.

Also Tuesday, a passerby reported the U.S. flag on the Wadsworth square was on the ground and desecrated with writing.

Chad Pell, 41, of 190 Main St., No. 315, was charged with desecration of the U.S. flag and disorderly conduct, according to a police report.
