Elmer graduated from Hinckley High School and lived most of his adult life in Medina County. Elmer was self-employed for a time and retired from the trucking industry in 1981. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, great dad, special grandpa, a brother who loved his siblings and an uncle who cared deeply about his nieces and nephews.
Elmer is survived by his wife of 62 years, Luella; his daughter and son-in-law, Deby and Andy Lasko; grandchildren, Nicole Zadzilka, Scott Lasko, Andrew Lasko, Matthew Lasko (Kasey); and great grandson, Tatum. His surviving siblings are Eileen Maraschky of Brookpark, Harold Botz of Strongsville, and Marjorie French of Seville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Raymond, Gertrude, Olga, Arthur, and Florence.
Elmer’s body was donated to the Case Western Reserve University Medical School. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
