Betty I. Reinke

Betty I. Reinke, 67, of West Salem, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hemlock, New York on July 24, 1945 to the late Gerald and Mildred Forest. Betty moved with her family to Ohio in 1976. She had resided in the country setting of Cinnamon Lake for the past four years.

Betty was a true homemaker who enjoyed being in her kitchen baking and cooking for family and friends. She was an avid reader and really loved to go to garage sales. She was known as a collector of all treasures.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Richard; loving mother of Mark Schmitt (deceased), Linda (Dennis) Rupnow, Marie Price (Warren Judy), Nancy Huddleston (John Schoenbeck), Chris Notley, Trista (Jason) Ladolce, Samantha (Brad) Cornell and Cody Reinke; cherished grandchildren, Jason and Nadine Price, Blake and Shawna Huddleston, Christopher and Johnny, Christian, Anthony and Lincoln Ladolce, Cassidy and Andrew Cornell; dear great grandchild, Thomas Wenner; sister of Barbara Campbell; and cousin of Robin Ross.

Betty’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers and doctors of North Central Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother, making her most comfortable in her last days.

At Betty’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, OH 44805.
