Walter “Judge” Robb, Jr., 82, a lifetime resident of Hinckley, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was born September 1, 1930, in Hinckley, to the late Walter A. and Eudora (Stine) Robb, Sr.
Walter proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired as Chief of Operations for the Cleveland Metro Parks. He was the current Hinckley Township Sexton, a volunteer for the USO, and a lifetime member of the Nature Conservancy. He loved spending time outdoors, traveling the country, fishing, and was an avid reader, who was often seen at the Highland Library.
He is survived by his beloved companion of 25 years, Paula Kramer; loving children, Jeffrey Robb of Hinckley, Susan Robb of Hinckley, Linda (Chuck) Olsavsky of Newburgh, Indiana, Gary (Lisa) Robb of Hinckley, and John (Donna) Robb of Hinckley; their mother, Lois Robb; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brother, Richard (Cate) Robb of Franklin, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Steven; and brothers, Ramon and Herbert Robb.
Family and friends may call Friday, July 26, 2013, from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M., at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, 44212. A prayer service will be held during calling hours at 12:30 P.M.
