Wanda Mae Blough Rogers, 81, of Salem, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in Salem. Wanda was born October 1, 1931, in Parma. She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Gladys (Stoskopf) Barnes.
She graduated from Liverpool High School. September 2, 1950, she married Dean Blough, who preceded her in death on April 29, 1987. December 21, 1993, she married Bill Rogers and he preceded her in death, August 9, 2006. Wanda retired from Wayne Mutual Insurance Company in Wooster, and made her home in Creston and later in Wooster, before moving to Florida in 1998. She recently moved to Salem, Missouri to be near family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Judy (Richard) Beckett of Salem, Missouri, Todd Blough of Massillon, Patty Selley of Jackson and Steve Blough of Orrville; step children, Dave (Sandy) Rogers and Joyce (Gene) Varns of Wooster and Barb Rogers of Portage Lake; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Leola Higham of Medina.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; an infant son, Charles; a grandson, Scott Beckett; and a brother, Leland Barnes.
Friends may call Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 2 to 4 P.M., at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, where a service celebrating Wanda’s life will be held at 4 P.M.
