MEDINA — The former Henry Furnace building sold at auction Thursday for $285,000.
The new owners are business partners Greg Cordray and Steve Madden.
Cordray, president of Akron-based Keystone Technology Consultants, said that until the sale is finalized, he is not prepared to detail his plans for the building. He did say, however, spaces would be available to rent.
The 135,000-square-foot building, at 563 Bronson St., once was a foundry that manufactured cast-iron furnaces. It has been vacant for five years and was owned by Patriot Development in Canton.
The Medina County auditor valued the site’s 7.24 acres at $165,950 and the building at $440,820. The suggested opening was $20,000.
