Janice D. Bigley, 77, of Medina, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Hospice of Medina County. She was born March 27, 1936, in Lodi, to Dale T. and Bernice Allen Dull and was a Lodi High School graduate.
She was a lifetime resident of Medina County and had resided in Lodi for the past 40 years.
She had been a bookkeeper for a number of businesses and had retired from the OSU Extension Office in Medina. She was a member of the Lodi American Legion Auxiliary, MENSA, a founding member of Mended Hearts and was a Red Cross volunteer.
She is survivied by four children, Robert Doyle (Barbie) Bigley of Creston, Kimberly Ellen Sprowl of Medina, Carol Lee (Bill) Rock of Orrville, Melinda Ann (Jeff) Root of West Salem; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle; great granddaughter, Zoe Newberry; sisters, Betty Plummer and Donna Rufner; and brother Edward Dull.
Memorial service will be Friday, September 6, 2013, 11 A.M., at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Medina County Hospice Chaplain, Don Verdell, will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2013, from 6 to 8 P.M., and one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
