William J. Szentkeresti

William J. Szentkeresti, 90, of Brook Park, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2013. He was born December 9, 1922, to Wilhelm and Helen (nee Savold) Szentkereszti in Cleveland.

William proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the UAW Local 1005. William retired from Parma Chevrolet Plant as a tool maker after 35 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.

William will be missed by his beloved wife of 66 years, Rita (nee Billick); loving daughters, Karen Szentkeresti and Janet (Peter) Fuldauer; treasured grandchildren, Christie (Mike) Boger, Shannon (fiancé Christopher Barnes) Fuldauer and Paul Fuldauer; cherished great grandchildren, Alexandria Fuldauer; twins, Jakob and Lucas Boger and Mayah Boger; and sister, Margaret (Robert, deceased) Saunders.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Judy (Kevin) Werner; and sisters, Mary Szentkereszti and Helen (Mike) Petrilla.

Family will receive friends Friday, September 13, 2013 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10 A.M. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, with Father Bob Stec officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
