Richard “Dick” Randall

Richard “Dick” Randall, 80, of Medina, entered into rest Friday, September 13, 2013. He was born February 17, 1933 in Shelby, Ohio, to the late Harry D. and Edna M. Randall.

After getting his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ohio University, Dick went on to work as a music teacher for the Chagrin School District and then as a school psychologist for the Cleveland School System. Dick proudly served his country and was a member of the U.S. Army Band of the Pacific. Back home his passion for music led him to joining the Medina Community Band. Dick was also a 14 year member of AA.

Dick is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy “Dottie” (Mehn); daughter, Chris (Ed) Pulskamp; step children, Barbara (David) Hanson and Fred L. (Christine) Siegrist, Jr.; grandchildren, Gary and Kevin Bernhardt and Karli Pulskamp; step grandchildren, Kelsey Hanson and Chase Golubski.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; three sisters; and his step grandson, Joseph Siegrist.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, where friends may call Friday, September 20, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Private burial with military honors will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church or Kitten Krazy.
