Tuesday, Sept. 17
2:22 a.m. —Santiago O. Chavez, 49, of 513 W. Mill St., Medina, charged with domestic violence.

Thursday, Sept. 19
9:44 p.m. — West North and North Huntington streets, Hallie E. Blair, 18, 521 Bronson St., Medina, charged with possessing drug abuse instruments.

Friday, Sept. 20
12:45 p.m. — 300 block Springbrook Drive, PC tablet reported stolen from unlocked vehicle.
5:19 p.m. — 200 block Ivy Hill Lane, $300 reported stolen from an apartment.

Sunday, Sept. 22
8:17 a.m. — Johnny J’s Pub and Grille, 9:25 N. Court St., an employee reported that two men driving a gold Chevrolet Malibu started “talking trash” to him at 2:30 a.m. in the bar parking lot. The man said one of them pulled a black pistol out of his pants and put it back in, then drove away.

Monday, Sept. 23
7:31 a.m. — 100 block Commerce Drive, pallets reported stolen.

Wednesday, Sept. 18
6:45 p.m. — Dollar General, 3774 Pearl Road, a manager reported that what appeared to be a mother and daughter stole several items.

Saturday, Sept. 21
10:18 p.m. — Marks Road and Indian Wells Drive, Amy F. Shupe, 54, of 5406 Indian Wells Drive, Medina Township, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Sunday, Sept. 22
1:04 a.m. — 2700 block Marks Road, John M. Sowinski, 49, of 476 Westwood Ave., Brunswick, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Montville Township police

Wednesday, Sept. 18
10:05 a.m. — Medina Inn, 5200 Montville Drive, window reported broken and piece of fence thrown in pool at vacant hotel.

Thursday, Sept. 19
11:41 a.m. — 4800 block Poe Road, two Canada geese reported shot on private property. The Ohio Division of Wildlife and Medina County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will investigate.
