Sunday, Sept. 22
9:20 p.m. — First block of Bettie Lane, a man was taken to the hospital with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his arm. During an interview with Brunswick officers, the man said he had cleaned his 9 mm handgun and was putting it back together and replacing the magazine. He said he then watched a video on YouTube about gun cleaning and decided to take the gun apart again, forgetting that it was loaded when the firearm discharged, striking him in the left forearm.
7:18 p.m. — Matthew J. McGill, 29, of 3717 Ascot Drive, Brunswick, was charged with trespassing.

Monday, Sept. 23
2:30 p.m. — 1400 block of Carpenter Road, a car was vandalized with keys.
5:45 p.m. — Sean S. Smith, 22, of 4891 Cabernet Drive, Brunswick, was served with a warrant for failure to comply at the Cuyahoga County Jail.

Saturday, Sept. 21
8:56 p.m. — Leonard S. Adams, 49, of 442 Calverton Place, Brunswick, was charged with not using a turn signal and OVI after a traffic stop on West 130th Street.
