MEDINA — The governing board of the Medina County Schools Educational Service Center is expected to vote this morning to choose Floyd Parsson, a retired school treasurer, as interim treasurer.
The board will meet at 7 a.m. today at 124 W. Washington St.
At that time, the board will set Parsson’s hourly pay, said ESC Superintendent Will Koran.
Koran said Parsson recently served as treasurer of Midview Schools. He also has been treasurer of Buckeye Schools and the Medina County Career Center.
Parsson will replace former ESC treasurer Michelle McNeely, who resigned Monday, citing “personal and family reasons.”
McNeely had served as treasurer for eight years and worked for the ESC for a total of 17 years.
