Nelson Lee Repp, 71, of Seville, died peacefully Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the Hospice of Medina Care Center, following a brief illness. Nelson was born November 22, 1941 in Lodi, to the late Marvin and Clara (Travis) Repp and married Gathie Lee Young on June 16, 1963. She survives.
He was a 1960 graduate of Norwayne High School and retired from Rubbermaid, Inc., following 32 years of service. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Burbank and enjoyed fishing, coon hunting and raising pygmy goats. He made his home between Creston and Seville for the past 49 years.
Surviving are his wife, Gathie Lee; a daughter, Tina Smoter of Seville; a son, Eric (Barb Kusmik) Repp of Seville; three grandsons, Willie (Chelsea Roberts) White, James Smoter and Jarrett Smoter; a brother, Larry (Sharon) Repp of Ashland; three sisters, Barb (John) Eller and Clarice (John) Holecko both of Trenton, Missouri and Julie Repp of West Salem; a sister-in-law, Kathy Repp of Orrville; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dennis Repp.
Memorial services for the family will be held at Faith United Methodist Church in Burbank, Friday, October 11, 2013, with Pastor Jack Gessic officiating. There will be no calling hours.
