Patricia A. Myers went into the arms of the Lord at Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road, Tuesday, October 15, 2013, while in the loving arms of her daughter, Regina, granddaughter, Brandi, great-granddaughter, Natalie, and many loving friends. Patricia was born in Kenmore on March 27, 1932 as the third of six children to James and Gertrude Graham.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Ziegler; and sister, Rosemary Van Duzer.
She is survived by her children, Regina Lewis of Akron and Ted Johnson of West Virginia. She also leaves behind her loving husband, Richard E. Myers; and his five children, Linda, Mike, Steve, Daniel and Vickie; her 20 loving grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Rudolph of Massillon and Trudy Eason of Texas; brothers, James Graham of Arkansas and Joseph Graham of Brimfield, Ohio; along with her many, many friends. Her loves included the Prayer Shawl Ministry, and the Deacons and Servers that brought her the Host.
She was also active at the Sacred Heart Church in the Altar and Rosary Societies and many other functions of the church.
She enjoyed the many garden clubs in the Wadsworth/Sharon area and also enjoyed 30 years as a dedicated volunteer at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital where she worked Lifeline.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Volunteers or Sacred Heart School.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 260 Broad St. Wadsworth 44281. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church. Inurnment with Final Rites to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, in Akron.
