Workers will be repaving state Route 18 on Monday between Foote Road in Medina Township and the Interstate 71 interchange, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Beginning at 8 a.m., there will be intermittent lane closures between Medina Hospital and I-71. One lane will be maintained at all times with flaggers directing traffic. Also starting Monday, there will be lane closures around Medina’s Public Square as crews install pavement markings on repaved sections of Route 18.
Motorists are advised to allow for extra time traveling through the work zone or to seek alternate routes.
The project, which includes repaving all of Route 18 and state Route 57 in Medina, is nearing completion and is expected to be finished by December.
