Willa Dean Hoffmeyer

Willa Dean Hoffmeyer, 84, formerly of Spencer, went home to be with the Lord, who she loved, Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born in Oktaha, Oklahoma and resided in the Medina area the past 14 years, to be near her son and his family.

Willa retired from Ohio Bell as a long distance operator, following 37 years of service.

She is survived by her son, Nick (Gigi) Reutzel of Lodi; grandchildren, Nicole (John) Parsons of Rowlett, Texas, Derek (Amy) Reutzel of Strongsville; stepgrandchildren, Chad (Kerry) Birth, Brent Birth (deceased); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Noah, and Nicholas; stepgreat-grandchildren, Joannie, B.J., Julia, Marcus, and Jullian; sister, Frankie Louise; brothers, Jack and David; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowland Franklin and Nancy Elizabeth (Stone) Martin; and sisters, Delores Faye (Babe), Barbara Jean, and Ida Laverne (Sweetie).

Willa was loved by all who knew her. She had a kind and generous spirit, and greeted everyone with “Hon” or “Kiddo”. She will be greatly missed.
