Man pleads guilty to burglarizing Valley View neighborhood

Brandon Ball

MEDINA — A 23-year-old Wadsworth man was convicted Wednesday of breaking into a half-dozen houses near Wadsworth’s Valley View Elementary School.

Brandon T. Ball, of 210 Knollwood Drive, pleaded guilty in Medina County Common Pleas Court to seven counts of burglary, second-degree felonies, and a count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony.

Judge Christopher J. Collier scheduled Ball for a Dec. 30 sentencing hearing, at which he faces up to 57 years in prison.

Ball was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his home. They reported finding items reported stolen.

His trial was scheduled to begin Wednesday but he instead changed his plea.
