Christmas memories: Sick mother spends Christmas with family

A big part of enjoying Christmas present is remembering Christmases past. The sights, sounds and smells of the holidays can evoke memories of childhood and family that bring a smile to the face and warmth to the heart. Here is one Medina County resident’s favorite remembrance.

Kristen Rogers, of Medina Township, U.S. Bank teller, gives her story: “My fondest Christmas memory was my mother being able to come home from the hospital and spend the holiday season with our entire family. My two sisters and I made scrapbooks of our childhood and fond memories that we had with our mother, and we all got to read them to her on Christmas night before she passed away.” (GAZETTE PHOTO BY BILL ROSER JR.)
