Ruth E. Coyle

Ruth E. Coyle, 84, of Seville, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Life Care Center. She was born in McComas, West Virginia to the late Mack and Martha (Purdy) Faw. Ruth lived in Medina County many years, and was a retired L.P.N., having worked at Lodi Hospital over 35 years. Ruth enjoyed sewing and collecting figurines. She and her husband Frank raised many foster children over the years. She was a member of Our Lady of Help Christians Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank C. Coyle; grandsons, Mark, Matthew and Michael, all of Rittman; two great-grandchildren; and one great-step-grandchild; son-in-law, Roy Trowbridge; and special friend, Janine of Rittman.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Beth Trowbridge; sisters, Myrtle Lucas, Irene Harris of Virginia and Hazel Mottle of Ohio.

Service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013, 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Help of Christians Catholic Church, 60 High St., Seville, with Father Ron Bryda officiating. Friends may call Sunday evening, December 22, 2013 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Armstrong Funeral Home, St. Rt. 3, in Seville. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

    I had the pleasure of working with Ruth at Lodi in the 1990′s. She was a lovely and kind hearted woman. She enjoyed taking care of patients and was a hard worker. My condolences to her family. nDeb Toth
