Longin “Lindy” Dziczkowski

Longin “Lindy” Dziczkowski, 86, of Doylestown, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, surrounded with love and prayer by his wife, Dorothy, and their seven children.

A veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy Seabees, Lindy was a retiree of both the U.S. Postal Service and Revere Schools. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary; and great-granddaughter, Julia Dziczkowski.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; their children, Robert (Marcia), Leonard (Kathy), Patricia (Carl) Haaser, Steve (Denise), Mary, Diane (Dean) Supan, Amy (Jim) Colopy; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Wozniak; sisters-in-law, Alice Gladyszewski and Joanne Dixon; numerous nephews and nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013, 10:30 A.M., at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, with Father Robert Stein as the Celebrant. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow at 1 P.M., at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends and family may call Monday, December 23, 2013, from 2 until 8 P.M., at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 330-658-2211.
