Medina County felony court report for Jan. 6

The following people appeared in Medina County Common Pleas Court on Dec. 30, according to county Prosecutor Dean Holman:

• Brandon Ball, 24, Knollwood Drive, Wadsworth, sentenced to six years in prison on seven counts of burglary, second-degree felonies, and one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony.

• April Cantley, 33, West Union Street, Medina, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony. She also was ordered to pay $50 in restitution.

• Jackie Wiley, 27, Burbank, sentenced to five years of community control sanctions on one count of theft of a dangerous drug, a fourth-degree felony.

• Tarome Boyd, 20, North Broadway Street, Medina, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in cocaine, fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 3.

• Jack Cantrell, 33, Greenwich Road, Seville, pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated burglary, first-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 3.

• Maureen Conner, 47, Haft Drive, Reynoldsburg, pleaded not guilty to one count of failure to comply with a police officer, a third-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Jan. 29.

• Henry Hart III, 40, East 109th St., Cleveland, pleaded not guilty to one count of falsification to obtain a concealed handgun license, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 31.

• Richard Hrouda, 21, Sleepy Hollow Road, Brunswick, pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 12.

• William Liebenguth, 19, Pearl Road, Brunswick, pleaded no contest to one count of trafficking in marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile, a fourth-degree felony; one count of trafficking in drugs within the vicinity of a school or juvenile, a fourth-degree felony; and one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 10.

• David Maj, 26, of Judy Drive in Cleveland, pleaded not guilty to one count of abusing harmful intoxicants, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 24.

 

The following people appeared in court Thursday:

• Zachary Belford, 27, Nichols Road, Medina, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Denard Brothers, 26, North Vine Street, Medina, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of trafficking in cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• George Chuey, 33, State Road, Wadsworth, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of illegal cultivation of marijuana, a fourth-degree felony. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Tanya Harshberger, 30, Broad Street, Wadsworth, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony. Her driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• William Maldonado, 58, Van Buren Drive, Brunswick, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

• Nickolas Merrill, 19, Birch Hill Drive, Medina, sentenced to eight months in prison on one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• Jeremy Schrock, 23, West High Street, Orrville, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony.

• Anthony Thomas, 20, Parkway Drive, Eastlake, sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of breaking and entering and one count of theft, fifth-degree felonies.

• Joshua Black, 24, Debbie Drive, Medina, pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of drugs, fourth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for March 3.

• Joshua Brown, 25, Emerald Lakes Drive, Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of passing bad checks, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 25.

• Steven Couch, 24, Gordon Avenue, Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, fourth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for March 3.

• Jeremy Crawford, 19, Westwood Drive, Strongsville, pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in cocaine and one count of trafficking in marijuana, fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for March 4.

• Steven Dalton, 41, McKenzie Road, Olmsted Falls, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 18.

• Cody Grimm, 20, Wooster Pike, Seville, pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 4.

• Audrey Hunt, 32, North Main Street, Mansfield, pleaded no contest to six counts of theft, fifth-degree felonies. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 6.

• James Mathes, 40, Bronson Street, Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of failure to comply with a police officer, a third-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 3.

• Ivan Ray, 20, Florida, pleaded not guilty to one count of vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 5.

• Michael Siegfried, 35, Birch Street, Lodi, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 5.

• Trebor Simon, 19, Lakefield Lane, Chippewa Lake, pleaded not guilty to one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 4.

• Shane Slevins, 44, Ruff Road, West Salem, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 4.
