MEDINA — The Medina school board on Monday named Cliff Reinhardt as interim treasurer.
Reinhardt served as treasurer of the Willoughby-Eastlake school district for 10 years before retiring in 2012.
He is expected to serve until the board finds a permanent replacement for Jim Hudson, who resigned in November to become treasurer of Avon Schools.
Reinhardt said he was not a candidate for the permanent post.
“I don’t really think the job is to change the world,” he said Monday after the school board announced his appointment. “I just think the job is to keep things on an even keel.”
In other action Monday, the school board elected Tom Cahalan as board president and Doug Adamczyk as vice president.
