Eleanor S. Hauth, 87, of Medina, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She was born May 12, 1926, to the late Raymond and Julia (nee Kepes) Barnard in Cleveland.
Eleanor was a long time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5137. She enjoyed visiting casinos, playing Bingo, taking bus trips, shopping and cooking, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Up until her last days, she was on the go, visiting family and friends.
Eleanor will be deeply missed by her loving children, Jack (Kathy) Forster of Strongsville, Debbie (John) Kullman of Medina, Debra (Ray) Krsak of Parma, Cheryl (Mike) Myer of Arizona, Martin Hauth of Nevada, and son-in-law, Richard Mackey of Brunswick; 12 treasured grandchildren; 22 cherished great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Jack H. Forster, Sr. and Harry L. Hauth; daughter, Barbara Mackey; and brother, Raymond.
Family will receive friends Sunday, January 12, 2014, from 4 until 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick 44212. Services will follow at 7:30 P.M., in the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Campo officiating. Inurnment will take place Monday, January 13, 2014, 11 A.M., at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Brunswick.
