Medina County gets brief reprieve from winter weather

Tuesday’s unseasonably warm weather, in contrast to last week’s polar vortex that sent temperatures to a record-breaking 11 degrees below zero, has melted the snow and all but a thin layer of ice on Lake Medina in Medina Township. Tuesday’s high reached into the 40s under cloudless blue skies. Winter is expected to return today with temperatures around 30 and a chance of snow showers after 4 p.m.
