Make it six Pro Bowlers for the Browns.
Strong safety T.J. Ward was added to the Pro Bowl roster, the NFL announced Monday. He was named an alternate Dec. 27 and will replace Pittsburgh’s Troy Polamalu, who’s injured.
Cleveland’s six Pro Bowlers are the team’s most since six following the 2007 season. Ward will join tight end Jordan Cameron, receiver Josh Gordon, cornerback Joe Haden, center Alex Mack and tackle Joe Thomas.
The Pro Bowl is Sunday in Honolulu.
Ward had a career-high 129 tackles and tied a career high with two interceptions. He added nine passes defensed, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and two touchdowns. He scored on a 44-yard interception return vs. Buffalo and a 51-yard fumble recovery vs. Chicago.
Ward is scheduled to become a free agent in March.
The Browns went 4-12.
