Robert C. Buck III (Rob), 55, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. He was born in Berea and grew up in Strongsville, a suburb of Cleveland.
Rob attended The University of Arizona in Tucson. Rob followed his heart to Syracuse, New York and Burlington, North Carolina before settling back in Ohio at Chippewa Lake.
His parents, Robert C. Buck, Jr., and Gwenn W. (Reese) Buck predeceased Rob.
Rob leaves behind his brothers, Michael (Natalie) Buck of Strongsville and Jeffery (Lisa) Buck of Indianapolis, along with nieces, Chrissy Sutliff and Lauren Buck and nephews, Ethan Buck and Matthew (Brittany) Buck and their children, Kayden and Mya Buck.
Rob was an avid Cleveland sports fan, loving his Browns, Indians and Cavaliers no matter where he resided. He was known for his Epicurean delights and the kitchen mess they left behind, his strong political views, his great sense of humor and his love of dogs. Rob bids a fond farewell as he now runs with the “Big Dogs”.
No formal memorial per family request, but they ask that you raise a glass in toast and say a prayer in his memory.
