Joe Galvin, 81, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Joe was raised in New Stanton, Pennsylvania by his family Bridget and Patrick Galvin.

He had a simple philosophy of life, he always said “If you take care of the land, it will take care of you” and “There are no strangers, only friends you haven’t met yet”.
He will be dearly missed by his loving daughters, JoAnn Galvin and Jean (Charles) McKinley; grandchildren, Tammy (Marc) Mellinger and Chrissy (Dustin Blake) McKinley; great grandchildren, Talon, Kenedy, Kylie and Mykelti; many nieces and nephews; members of the Galvin, Ashbaugh and Detore families; special friends, Ralph and Shirley Halblaub.
