Medina
Cloudy
28°F

Going . . . going . . . but not gone — yet

Plows clearing the parking lots along Medina’s North Court retail district have created mounds of snow that are only slowly melting as temperatures climb this week. Today’s high is expected to break 50 degrees, followed by rain and high winds tonight. Friday will be sunny and breezy with a high of 42. The combination of melting snow and rain will produce a threat of flooding. The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued flood watch for Medina County and across northern Ohio beginning from this afternoon until Friday morning. DAVID KNOX / GAZETTE
