Barbara Jeanne Hoover

Hoover_BarbaraBarbara Jeanne Hoover (nee Reeve), 68, left peacefully, Friday, February 21, 2014, surrounded by her family in Medina. Barbara was born in Sidney, Ohio, but spent most of her life in Maryland.

She was an extremely outgoing woman whose boisterous personality attracted everyone she met. She will be remembered for her colorful language, spirited attitude, intriguing stories and imaginative gifts. She lived selflessly and touched so many people. She was always happier to give than receive. She is dearly missed already, and will be the best, most feisty guardian angel anyone has ever had.

In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate donations be sent to Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, 925 Euclid Ave. #600, Cleveland, OH 44115, who acted above and beyond in providing her care.

A special thanks to all those who cared, supported and loved her so much.

Barbara was my cousin who became one of my best friends–particularly in the past three years since I lost my husband. She was the strongest, most positive, faith-filled, supportive, wickedly funny woman I’ve ever known. Those of us who knew and loved her now have the best guardian angel in heaven. I love you, Barbara.
