MEDINA — Medina police are investigating a report from a woman who said she had been held at knifepoint at a suspected drug house.

Officers executed a search warrant Friday evening at 416 Bronson St.

Police Sgt. Scott Marcum said the woman came to police Friday morning and said that a few days earlier she had been at the home and a man threatened her with a knife in a dispute over gift cards.

Marcum said officers searching the home confiscated a knife and a suspect is being sought.

Marcum said the home’s owner was not a suspect.

One man in the house was arrested on outstanding warrants from Strongsville and Bedford, Marcum said. Officers also reported finding marijuana on the man.

Police Chief Patrick J. Berarducci said a number of arrests have been made at the house.

“This place has a lengthy police history,” Berarducci said. “It’s one of our most notorious drug houses.”
