Clara Kabat (nee Zsarnay), 90, a long time Brunswick resident, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was born October 22, 1923, in Cleveland, to the late Bela and Rose (nee Fecser) Zsarnay.
She graduated from Brunswick High School in 1941, worked at Geo. Worthington Co. in Cleveland, and was a parishioner at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Clara will be remembered as a great homemaker who loved to cook, sew, knit, crochet, and was noted for her delicious pastries.
Clara is the beloved wife of the late Stanley.
She will be missed by her loving children, Anita (Donald deceased) Moose and Carol (Manfred) Weiss; cherished grandchildren, Sara, Emily, and Nick; and treasured great-grandchildren, Nancy, Logan, Spencer, Calene, and Bridgette.
Friends may call Friday, March 7, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 8, 2014, 11 A.M., at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, with one hour prior of visitation at the church. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
