Joan Parkhill, 76, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, March 9, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born on May 9, 1937 to the late Edwin and Josephine (nee Kowalski) Mazanec in Cleveland.
Joan enjoyed watching game shows, doing crossword puzzles, vacationing with family at the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also was a member of Polaris Christian Church.
Joan will be deeply missed by her loving children, Tracy (Doug) Green, Laura (Kris) Tibbs, Amy (Stephen) Peppers and Carrie (Mike) Wallace; treasured grandchildren, Douglas, Lindsey, Joshua, Jacob, Kaden and Lilly; brothers, Kenny (Sandy), Eddie (Barb), Dicky and Dave Mazanec; and sisters, Patty (John) Mayer and Jean (Dan) Dombrowski. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennie Jr.; and brothers, Jimmy and Bobby.
Family will receive friends for memorial visitation, Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M., at Polaris Christian Church, 3289 Laurel Road, Brunswick 44212. Memorial service will immediately follow at 1 P.M. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
