Pam Czech, of Liverpool Township, raised more than $1,800 to help fight childhood cancer Monday at the St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraiser at the Medina County Career Center. Czech has her head shaved by Becky Hambley, a cosmetology instructor who hosted the inaugural event at the school last year. Czech and Hambley are friends, and Hambley decided to host the event at her school after Pam’s daughter, Cassidy Jackson, died in 2006 when she was 12 years old after a two-year fight against cancer.
