Nicholas Dudar

OBIT FLAGNicholas Dudar, 87, entered into rest Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Nick was born February DudarNicholas19, 1927 in Cleveland, to the late Alex and Irene Dudar.

He honorably served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. After the war, Nick worked as a photographer for International News Photos, taking photos at sporting events and then went on to become an established developer of custom black and white prints. Nick will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and uncle, who left a wonderful impression on everyone he met.

Nick is survived by his children, Jacqueline (Dale) Smith, Robert Dudar, and William Dudar; grandchildren, David, Jessica, and Daniel Smith, and Holly Dudar; great-grandson, Giovanni; and nieces and nephews, Mark, John, Cheryl, Terri, Tracy, and David.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Steve Dudar; sister, Irene Lehrke; and nephew, Ron Lehrke.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 11 A.M. (Please meet at cemetery front gate by 10:45 A.M.)
