BRUNSWICK — A domestic dispute Friday afternoon escalated into a nearly two-hour-long police standoff that ended when a man suffered a seizure.

Officers responding to a report of a domestic dispute at 3327 Valley Forge Drive about 2:45 p.m. found a woman outside the house and a man who “had barricaded himself inside,” according to a Brunswick police news release.

He was taken to Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights.
