Richard A. Fletcher, 62, of Canton, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, following a short illness. He was born May 10, 1951 in Princeton, West Virginia and was the son of Carl and Ruth (Mann) Fletcher, who preceded him in death.
Richard lived with Siffrin Group Homes and worked at the Stark County Sheltered Workshops. He was a member of the Exceptional Class at the Canton Baptist Temple.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his special aunt, Glenna Mann.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret “Marge” Fletcher of Lodi; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Debbie Fletcher, Plano, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins and the Siffrin Group Home managers, Chris and Angie.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 6 until 8 P.M., at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Additional visitation will take place Friday, April 4, 2014, at the chapel at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Princeton, West Virginia, from 12 until 2 P.M., with a service at 2 P.M.
