Keaton-Mulcahy_MarilynMarilyn L. Keaton-Mulcahy (nee Buettner), peacefully entered heaven Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was born May 5, 1935, in Cleveland, to the late Louis and Louise Buettner. She was always a hard worker, starting at the REA as a young woman. She married the love of her life, Bryan D. Keaton (deceased), and started their family in Valley City in 1957. While raising her family, she was a cashier at Fisher Fazio Foods, a bus driver for Buckeye Local Schools, a manager at Brunswick Party Center, and finally retired as a payroll/human resource employee at Life Care Center of Medina. She loved boating, camping, bowling, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed 13 years of being a snowbird in Florida, with her second husband, James M. Mulcahy (deceased).

Marilyn is the loving mother of Debra Asbury (Fred), Bryan P. Keaton (deceased), Susan Ulmer (Myron), and Timothy M. Keaton; stepmother to Beth (Kelly) Hebb, and Chris Mulcahy; dear grandmother of Phillip and Rheannon Asbury, Brian Ulmer (Kyle), Jennifer Morton (Craig), Lisa Ulmer (Michael), Alison Ulmer (T.J.), Samantha McCune (Justin), James Casey Keaton, and Timothy L Keaton (Carmen) and Noah Mulcahy; great-grandmother of Cameron and Molly Morton, and Brayden and Colton McCune; sister of Barbara Bennett, Jean Edwards, and the late Donald Buettner. Her spirit will always remain with all her loved ones that believe!

Friends may call at Waite and Son Funeral Home, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 4 until 8 P.M. Funeral Mass will be at St. Martin Church (Mass will be in the Church’s Chapel), 1824 Station Rd., Valley City, Friday, April 4, 2014, at 11 A.M. Interment will be at St. Martin Cemetery.
