Clark_GordonOBIT FLAGKenneth Gordon Clark, 72, of Spencer, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his home. He was born April 11, 1941 in Lodi, to Kenneth O. and Mary (Foster) Clark.

He attended Spencer Schools and was a lifetime resident of Spencer. Mr. Clark worked as a meat cutter for Medina Packing Co., Kiene Brother’s Meats, Inc. of Valley City and retired from Tops Grocery in 2004.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Ashland and Spencer Baptist Church. He was President of Wayne Home Flyer Pigeon Club, and enjoyed racing pigeons, as well as showing horses and hunting. Mr. Clark was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his daughters, Sonya Renea (Garth) Infantino of Medina, Lisa Marie (Tritron) Gurganus of Maryland; sons, E. Michael (Catrina) Clark of Independence, Jason Alan (Stephanie) Clark of West Salem; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernedette; brother, Gerald; and nephew, Alan Clark.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 A.M., at the Spencer First Baptist Church, 302 West Main St., Spencer. Pastor Jeff Mullett will officiate. Private burial will be in Spencer Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
