PHOTO: Lightening the mood with comedy skits

Blin Scatterday shines a flashlight in the eyes of Neal Beck during a performance of comedy skits Friday afternoon at the Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina Township. Scatterday played a bureaucrat at the gates to heaven and Beck played a young man disappointed he saw no light before entering the pearly gates. “Does that make you feel better?” Scatterday asked, after shining the flashlight at Beck and before looking up Beck’s “paperwork.” The WRMC Readers Theatre, performs shows throughout the year and will perform another “best of” comedy show — its final one of the season — at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Medina Recreation Center, 855 Weymouth Road. The performance is free and open to the public. (LOREN GENSON / GAZETTE)
