Jane Ruth Sherman (nee Spink), 86, of Brunswick, peacefully entered Heaven Thursday, April 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born in Cleveland Heights, on April 20, 1927, to Francis P. and Rose R. Spink (nee Hanf), where she attended Cleveland Heights High School.
On May 6, 1947 she married the love of her life William Glenn Sherman and together they raised their six daughters in Hinckley. She worked as an Office Manager at Clorox.
She was a hard worker and a great woman of God who had many accomplishments in life, but what she would be most proud of and best remembered for, is leaving a legacy of faith and love. Family and friends meant everything to Jane.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Glenn; daughters, Glenna Wagner (Larry), Sandra Sherman-Meglich, Paula Goyette (Tom), Laura Sherman-Meglich, Debra Smole (Joe) and Lisa Riemenschneider (Jeff); 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother-in-law, Julius Reinke; many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Joan R. Reinke; and her granddaughter, Brenda.
Friends may call at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2 to 5 P.M. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1088 Ridge Rd., Hinckley, Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11 A.M. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield Center, Ohio.
