Willis Scott Galbreath, Jr.

GALBREATH_WILLISOBIT FLAGWillis Scott Galbreath, Jr., 71, of Seville, went home to the Lord Monday, April 7, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania January 29, 1943.

“Bill” graduated from Penn State then moved to Ohio, where he met his wife of 45 years, Sandra. He served in the National Guard and worked as a machine designer for over 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Ruth Galbreath.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (nee Johnson); children, Melissa (Eric) Datlenko, Jodie (Denis) Olzinski, Joseph (Kelley) Galbreath; sisters, Elsie Haley, Ann (Harry) Wilson and Sue (Joe) Renouf; two precious grandsons, Matthew Willis and Willis James; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was a very active member of First Christian Church of Wadsworth for 37 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, farming, hunting, bluegrass concerts and enjoying his two grandsons.

Love Always! Calling hours are Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 6 until 8 P.M., at Cox Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth, with service on Friday, April 25, 2014, 11 A.M., at First Christian Church, 116 Boyer St. Wadsworth, with Reverend Jim Singleton officiating.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Medina County (HMC) for their excellent care.
