Donald Glen Reynolds

OBIT FLAGDonald Glen Reynolds, 83, of Lake Placid, Florida, went to be with his Lord Monday morning, April 14, 2014, at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring, Florida. He was born January 18, 1931 in Spencer, to parents, Della (Cowley) and Jay Reynolds.

Donald served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. A retired barber, Donald was a winter resident for 22 years and a permanent resident of Lake Placid for the past eight years, moving from Ohio. He was a member of the Medina Moose Lodge, VFW and a life member with the Eagles. Donald was of the Christian faith. Donald loved spending time with both his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and stepson, Larry. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Jean; daughters, Kristine, Kimberly and Renee; stepdaughter, Judy; sons, Donald and Gary; stepsons, Darrell, Jeff and Don; eight grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty; and a brother, Lester.

Inurnment services, with military honors by the U.S. Army, will be held 11 A.M., Monday, May 12, 2014, at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida. Memorial services, to celebrate Donald’s life, will be held later this summer in Medina, and this fall in Lake Placid.
