MEDINA — Medina County Drug Task Force agents charged a 22-year-old Medina Township resident Tuesday with a felony drug-trafficking charge.
According to the task force, Andrew Kutsick was arrested after selling prescription pills to an undercover agent in the parking lot of the vacant Kmart on North Court Street.
Kutsick and a woman were stopped by Medina police officers after delivering the pills to the agent. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that a 2-year-old child was in the car as well, the task force reported.
Kutsick was taken to the Medina County Jail to be held pending his arraignment before Medina Municipal Court Judge Dale H. Chase. The woman with Kutsick was released pending further investigation. The 2-year-old child was released to the custody of her grandparents.
The case will be forwarded to Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman for review and possible additional drug-related and child endangering charges, according to the task force.
