Nancy Ann Glasgo, 72, of Spencer, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Hospice of Medina County in Medina. She was born January 31, 1942 in Mansfield, the eldest daughter of Herbert Merle and Evelyn (nee Shaull) Landis.
She was raised in the Lucas-Perrysville area, graduating from Perrysville High School class of 1960. Nancy was a lifetime resident of Spencer Village in Medina County. She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star Garfield Chapter 324 in West Salem and the Pythian Sisters Chapter 464 in Spencer.
Nancy, known by her family as NAG1, will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 54 years, James Sheridan Glasgo; daughters, Cynthia Graves (Howard Hartong, Jr.) of Sullivan, Lisa (Everett) Hartong of Medina; sons, John (Dianna) Glasgo of Spencer, Scott (Tamie) Glasgo of Galion; grandchildren, Matt (Shannon) Graves, Nate (Candice) Hartong, Renee’ Glasgo, Ben (Melissa) Hartong, Heather (fiance Alex) Glasgo, Taylor Counts; great grandchildren, Abbie and Ryan Graves, Owen Hartong; sisters, Peggy Twining, Joyce (Donald) Butler; brother, Charles (Connie) Landis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Martin Landis; and son-in-law, Kenneth Graves.
Nancy’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Medina Hospital, Keystone Pointe in LaGrange and HMC Hospice of Medina for the wonderful care and support they have given.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in Spencer Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
