Kevin J. O’Shea, 59, passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, May 16, 2014 of heart complications. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 2, 1955, to Virginia O’Shea Ashbolt and the late Neal O’Shea.
Kevin retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. Kevin enjoyed supporting all local sports teams and was an active member and coach in the soccer community. He was an instrumental part in the formation of the Cloverleaf Soccer Association and the Cloverleaf Girls High School Soccer Team. Kevin devoted his life to his children’s involvement in athletics and he never missed a sporting event. He enjoyed traveling, being outside, playing music, and had a special love for animals. Above all, his passion in life was the treasured time he spent with wife, children and grandchildren.
Kevin is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Eunice O’Shea, whom he adored for 37 years; his loving daughters, Erin O’Shea, Lauren (Dayton R.) Clutter and Kalyn O’Shea; his beloved grandchildren, Molly and Dayton J. Clutter; and his dear mother, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor Randy K’Meyer from CrossPointe Community Church will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, May 20, 2014 and from 10 to 11 A.M., Wednesday in the funeral home.
