BRUNSWICK — Brunswick City Council is expected to approve the purchase of a new dump truck and plow package for the city’s snow removal operations at its meeting tonight.
The proposal includes a request for $82,586 for the cab and chassis and $51,034 for the dump body and plow package.
Safety Service Director Pat McNamara said the new truck will replace an older plow, and was included as part of his annual budget request approved by council at the beginning of the year.
There are also ordinances updating the pay range for recreation department workers to comply with state minimum wage laws.
Council meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Council Chambers at 4095 Center Road in Brunswick.
