MEDINA — Police are looking for information about a break-in of a Public Square restaurant early Sunday.

Police said that about 3 a.m. a man walking along the north side of the square reported the glass was shattered in the front door of Eli’s Kitchen, 115 Public Square.

Officer Patrick Sloan said it was clear someone had been inside.

“Stuff was messed around with inside the restaurant,” he said. “They were definitely looking for something.”

An employee of Eli’s kitchen said only change from the cash register and credit cards were stolen from behind the counter.

“It’s not that big of a deal,” he said.
