Connie Sue Hall

Hall_ConnieConnie Sue Hall lost her battle with cancer, but won her prize of eternal life as she went home to be with Jesus Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born June 13, 1956, in Medina.

She married Harry Daniel Hall November 23, 1974. Harry was the love of her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved her husband, sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren beyond measure. She always had a friendly smile on her face and a bubbly giggle escaping her lips. Sue loved being outdoors mowing her grass and tending her beautiful flower gardens. She was gifted as a wood crafter and painter. She brought such life into her work that eyes seemed to sparkle and flowers looked real enough to be fragrant. She was known throughout her neighborhood for the intricate pumpkins she carved each Halloween and sat on her front porch railings for display. She shared her love of crafts with the children in her life and her talent lives on through them. Sue loved children and spent some time working at Chatham school and its library. She loved being silly with the children and making them laugh.

She will be terribly missed by those of us surviving her: husband, Harry, son, Eric, daughter-in law, Michelle, grandchildren, Rebecca, Hunter, Coralyn and Colt, son, Brad; sisters, Bonnie Knight, Arlene Laurence (Tim and son, Richard), and Linda Knight; mother-in-law, Janet Brooks; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Robin) Hall, Kevin (Wilma) Brooks, Warren Brooks and Luke May. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Dana Paul and Marjorie Knight (Zweifel); father-in-law, Jesse Brooks; sisters-in-law, Dinah Brooks and Cindy May, and brother-in-law, Chris Brooks.

Services will be held Tuesday, Junew 24, 2014, at 11 A.M., at Black River Church of the Brethren, 10322 Old Mill Road, Spencer, OH 44275. Pastor Mark Teal will officiate.
